Mirroring format changes for all protected sheets

My clients are big on personalizing their workbooks (color changing) and I'd like to start giving them a workbook with the sheets protected.

All 25 sheets (which are almost identical) in my workbook are protected. I was wondering if there's a way to mirror formatting between all protected sheets when the format has changed on one? Excel gives me the protected message box even if I have allow formatting cells for all sheets when they are grouped, so that doesnt work.
