Date conversion help

Hello all!

Hopefully some expert here can advise me.

I've been given a sheet of data which has two set of dates. There is no formatting on these dates, they are entered as text like this: Jul 27 2017 Aug 12 2014 etc etc

I want to find a way to convert these into a format that Excel recognises - if I format the cells to date, it don't change anything.

I am looking at doing a date count - or + today's date but with the formatting wrong I can't get it to work.

Any advice would be welcomed.
