Dropdown menu with Compare

Hello all,
I have a problem I am trying to solve. I am preparing a file with dropdown menus. I will give an a example from what I need to do:
I have different type of laptop models I can choose from a dropdown menu. By using the =indirect formula I can give for each model different options that can be chosen. I have options like Hardrive, monitor, speakers etc: I have the abillity of Hardrive 500Gb and Hardrive 1TB. Now I want that if on the first field of options the 500gb ischosen, then if I contineu inserting extras the Hardrive 1TB will not be available anymore, or if I choose 1TB an error message will come.
