    Pasting to relevant row

    Hi,

This is quite tricky for me to explain but I'll give it a go...

I have some data with a Unique Identifying number next to it. For Example:

    UID Valid Needed
    1 Yes No
    3 No Yes
    4 Yes No
    5 Yes Yes
    7 Yes Yes
    9 No Yes

What I'm needing to do is, Paste this data into another spreadsheet next to some data where the UID matches the row.

    Where:
    UID 1 goes into row1
    UID 3 goes into row3
    UID 4 goes into row4
    etc.

Obviously It would be easy to just do a normal copy and paste but I have some UIDs missing and it would take forever to sort this out manually as the spreadsheet has about 80K rows.

Is there an easier way to do this?

Attach a sample workbook (not image).

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Hi AVK,

Unfortunately it doesn't work as if you look at my sheet 2 the some numbers are missing from the UID column.

I don't have the details for these.

The results page is how it should look when im finished. There should be blank spaces for the records I have no information on in data 2.

Yes if in sheet2 numbers missing, then in result sheet those are reflect as blank.
If number missing in sheet2 you will find out which number is missing.
I have attach file with missing numbers.
