How to put days or day at the end of the days remaining

Hello,

I want to calculate the numbers of days remaining from between two dates

May 02, 2017 & May 02, 2018

the formula that I used was = enddate - TODAY()

which gives me 49. Now I want to put "days remaining" at the end.

Please share your calculation.

it works, but I got a new problem, my blank days give me negative "like -43173 days remaining"

How can I hide it?

one way might be =IF(enddate="","",enddate - TODAY()&" days remaining")

Another option is to use cell formatting.
1. Go back to your original formula.
2. Select the cells and click Format → Format Cells (near the right-hand end of the Home tab).
3. Click the Custom tab.
4. Enter this under Type:

0" days remaining";;0" days remaining";@

5. Click OK.

Positive numbers will display as: 49 days remaining
Negative numbers will just show a blank cell.
A result of zero will show: 0 days remaining
Text will display as it's written.

The advantage of this method is that it leaves the cell as a number, with which you can do calculations.
The disadvantage is that if you copy the cell contents and paste them elsewhere (into Word, for example), you'll just get the number without the 'days remaining' bit.

Just an option - it's up to you.
