Format or change pounds (£) into pence

Hi all,

Normally I can find my excel related issues by googling the answer - but it seems this one has really pickled me!

I have a worksheet full of values which are in GBP (although the currency symbol does not matter here) so for example a list of prices such as .75, 1.30, 2.75 etc. What I need to do is change these into pence, i.e. 75, 130, 275 etc.

If I change the decimal, it rounds the figure up so the .75 turns to either 0 or 1 and the 1.30 changes to a 1. I cannot find anywhere that will allow me to achieve what I need to do and I am a total novice to Excel!
