    How do I convert one row in excel into many rows (not transpose)?

    I have around 1000 rows in an excel spreadsheet, set up like this:

    Washington Seattle Olympia Tacoma
    California Berkeley
    Oregon Portland Eugene

    Here is what I want to have:

    Washington Seattle
    Washington Olympia
    Washington Tacoma
    California Berkeley
    Oregon Portland
    Oregon Eugene

    I have tried searching online, but I cannot figure out the right keywords to use, and I keep getting directed to sites that suggest transposing the data

    See the attached file, in which I have used your example data - hopefully you will be able to extend it to your real data, but let me know if you run into any difficulties. As you have 1000 rows, it might be better to put the expanded list on a different sheet.
