Hello, I'm having trouble locating the shorcut on google. I don't even know whats the shorcut called.
Basically, I have a code =A1, what is the shorcut that turns this code into $A$1?
Thanks

hi there. when you are typing and referring to a cell, you can press the F4 key to place those dollar signs. press it more and you can 4 different variations of it. it is the absolute and relative referencing of a cell.
you can also go inside the formula bar or double-click a cell to enter the F4 key. hope that explains what it does
