Count of Name in Excel With Respect of Date Range

Hi Friends, Need some help as i got stuck in this. i have a sheet where "Nasir" could have multiple entries and other team as well. i want to count the number of entries of each member date wise as i have the count but i could be able to get the date values automated, this hard coded is ok and working. I know, something i missed.

=COUNTIFS(A2:A2322, "=2-Jun-2017", C2:C2322,"=Nasir")

Thanks for sharing the same. However i tried the same and count is coming but what i want is to pick the "DATEVALUE("02-Jun-2017")" automatically from a column and match the previous date range. Please see if you could help me in this.
