    Insert refereshable data

    Hello

I had an Excel file created with an earlier version of Excel. There was a data range that was refreshable from data downloaded from the Internet (data refresh was manual).

I have made two shifts now; moved to Office 365 and MS to Mac.

The refresh is not happening now and tends to revert to an old data. I do not know how to insert the refreshable data range again in the new version.

Can somebody please help on this?

    Thanks.

    Re: Insert refereshable data

    Hello

How do I introduce a new Query? When I try to create a new query from my laptop, it does not get directed to any webpage. Previously, when I did it, I remember to have a copied data from webpage and pasted on my worksheet as a Refreshable Query.

    Thanks.

maybe use Data - From Web (you need to know url for that service) - Select data table there (if possible) ... and so on..

    edit:
I don't know how it works on Mac, but Mac doesn't support PowerQuery & PowerPivot

    Re: Insert refereshable data

Office on Mac really is a problem. Not sure how to introduce a web query? When I click Data, Get External Data, it does not allow you to point to Internet. It stays it the Computer itself. Even when I tried to introduce a HTML based query, it does not point to the Internet.

The command Refresh Data is present and when I click it, it seems to be updating some old data. To be precise, it is going back to data from 14th December always.

Is there somebody who can help on this? This is becoming frustrating.
