Office 2016 installed - Keep getting 'no subscription' messages

I purchased and installed Office 2016 as I don't want or need the Subscription service. I keep getting error messages about not having an updated subscription. How can I stop this from happening?

IMHO you should buy MS Office 2016 Desktop (not Subscription)

Weird I've the same and no any message about subscription

    edit:
if you run eg. excel and you'll see subscription message, don't kill this but run TaskManage and see there what is running similar to office task except excel. If you found it go to services tab and turn it off permanently (don't do that if you don't know what are you doing )

I just clicked "additional licensing information". It says "your subscription has expired. Microsoft Office 365". I think there may have been a short-term version on my laptop when I purchased it earlier this year. Can I get it to forget the 365 version and look only at my home license?

    could you show printscreens
    1. subscription message
    2. and what is running from Publisher: Microsoft Corporation (if you don't care to show what is on your computer of course)

    edit:
imho, uninstall all offices (maybe with tool from MS - TotalRemoveOffice or something like this), restart then install your H&S 2016 version

    How to...
    or
    Check this

Just uninstalled 365 from Control Panel, rebooted, and H&S started beautifully. Thanks.
