Convert Minutes to hours issue over 24 hours

Hi,

I have an issue with mins over the 24 hour period.

My minutes add up to 3926 and when i try and get it to show them as hours it comes up with 94296 when i format it too [hh]:mm

any ideas?

yes you need to learn about dates and times. 1 equates to 24hr so if you formatted 0.25 as hh:mm it would be 6:00

I think you are rounding but 94296/3926 is 24, so each 1 is being formatted as 24 hrs (as it is a day) divide the figure by 1440 (24*60) and format as you have been doing and your hours and minutes should work

I managed to get it to show 65 hours but 3926 mins is 65.43 according to google search. or am i just being thick (dont answer the last question)
