copy formulas from one multitab workbook to other

I've got a large workbook with many tabs which seems to increase in size over time even after I delete unused cells, columns and rows. Since the original workbook uses about the same number of cells, but is about 1/2 the size, I'm assuming that over time it has accumulated "hidden" information which I no longer use or need.

I know how to copy entire worksheets from one workbook to another, but often, the formulas will reference the first workbook.

If I "recreate" a new workbook including fresh tabs with identical names, is there a special paste function which copies formulas without referencing the original .xlxs file?

    Thanks!

You can use find and replace to change those links quite easily.

Hi thanks. Yes I've used find & replace before but with lots of tabs (and therefore named references) it gets a little tedious. I appreciate your help though!
