When I copy paste data from excel to outlook, I want to retain the mouse over comments on each cell. This currently doesn't work. How do I do that ?

When you paste from Excel to Outlook, the default is to paste it as a text table. If you want to preserve Excel features, you have to do two things:
Format your email as either HTML or Rich Text (not Plain Text)
When you paste, use Paste Special, then select Excel workbook object. This will embed an Excel object in the email. It will be displayed as a table but you can double-click and edit it.
Tried. Doesn't work for mouse over comments.![]()
The comment is there but does not pop up on mouseover. So if the mouseover is the critical feature you need, I don't know how to do it.
