    Merge Cells Help

So I know its possible to merge cells across but I am wondering if it is possible to do the same thing up and down across columns. I am trying to merge and center the cells in the excel doc attached (see yellow highlighted area) without doing it one by one. Is there a way to do this at all?

    Any help would be awesome

    Thanks!

    Re: Merge Cells Help

Move the text in Row 3 up to row 2
    Select the merged cells F2:F3
    Select the format painter
    Select the range G2:V3

All your desired cells will be merged in pairs.

That being said, merging is not usually a good idea. It can cause problems down the road. Why do you want to do this?

Thanks Jeff I followed your advice and ended up with the attached which is unfortunately not what I am looking to do - I am looking for the - I want to merge these cells so that I can wrap the text later on to make the width of the cells smaller and more presentable.

    Re: Merge Cells Help

By the way you can just change the height of the row, without having to merge.
