Blank cells not blank

Hello everyone,

Can someone please help me figure out why the cells that appear blank are returning FALSE for isblank(ref)?

The data type is text and I'm trying to run a macro that will remove all blank rows but I can until I figure out how to truly remove whatever is in the cells that appear blank.

I've already checked for VBnewline and spaces.

Once I double click in the cell and click out of it, the cell magically becomes truly blank. Why is this?

I've also tried non-breaking spaces and that isn't it either

By refreshing the cells formula is returning true.It is possible that you have copied those cells which were blank due to a formula result .

How is the data in B column populated?

I'm guessing it's imported from some external application. It does not contain any character, but contains something.
When you double click on a cell, it will go away and behave as normal.

To fix, Ctrl+H and check "Match entire cell contents". Then leave "Find what:" blank and replace all with unique character (such as "@").
Then replace "@" with blank.
