So i need to find a way to search a folder of 100's of excel docs for specific model numbers.

I would like to be able to just search in the folder for the part number and not have to look through my notes to find 1 part number..

I thought that i could save the excel Doc as text and excel going forward, so both will be in the folder. so when i search for a part number in the folder the text doc shows up so i know which excel doc its in. but that would not help me for the 100s of files that are currently in there.

Is there a setting i can change that would enable this? or is there a way through RUN CMD to convert all to text?
