Need help - Trying to take data from one sheet and sorting it in another.

I'm trying to take data from sheet1 and putting it all into sheet2 and sorting it by the date. I've attached an example. Is this doable? I need a formula for sheet 2 to extract all that data and sort it by column A.

Unless you're willing to re-arrange your data on Sheet1, this may prove to be more difficult through formulas (vice VBA) than it's worth.

If you are willing to re-arrange your data on Sheet1 into a one-dimensional data set (shown in the attached example workbook), then the task becomes significantly easier.
