    Question How to Model Permutations?

I'm trying to model all of the possible outcomes for a competition I'm putting on this summer and get insight on the different types of scoring systems we can use.

We have 8 teams and 6 different games. Points are scored based on how someone places in each game and the team with the most points at the end of all 6 competitions wins.

I have included an excel sheet that has everything that I am trying to do, but essentially I want to model all of the different scenarios and have them in a filterable list in excel.

I have an example of what I want to create in the 'Simulation Database' tab in my excel sheet. The problem is I don't now how to automate this. All of those values were entered in by hand. I would also like to make them calculations so if I wanted to test out different point systems I can just change one or two cells then the whole model changes.

Apologies if this question should be in a different thread. This is my first post on this forum.

I've never used VBAs or macros, but maybe I would need to for this..?

    Welcome to the forum!

This looks like an entire project. Might I suggest considering the Commercial Services section, where you can offer f=some financial recompense for whoever takes it on.

    Re: How to Model Permutations?

I took a look at the Commercial Services section and I'm a bit confused. How many points (which subscription) would I need for this project? I'm assuming I would pay someone with points after I gain access to that section? Is there somewhere in the forum that explains the Commercial section in more detail?
