How to make a mouseover a point in a line-diagramme trigger an action
Hello,
I have an excel line diagramme base on a table.
In a different table, I have three values that giove additional information for each point in the diagramme.
I wonder if it is possible to show the three additional values (the content of the cells) for each diagramme datapoint on the side of the diagramme, if I move my mouse over a point in the diagramme (or if I click a point in the diagramme).

Here is an example of what I think you want. When you click on a point it gives you the Series Name, the date the point represents and its X and Y coordinates. The code in on the Sheet for Chart 1. In addition, I have a bit of code that when you press CTRL-d pops up an input box where you can put in a date, and it will highlight that data point for you. I think you should be able to adapt this code to your needs. It's very old code as you can tell by the dates and the fact that it's an XLS file.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

I found an approach online for what I try to do that does exactly what I want. However, I was unable to adopt it to my file.
Would you be interested and willing to have a look at it?
I attached the original code ("RE_Punktegrafik Test_VBA für RedMine issue #3395.xlsm")
and my adopted version which does not (yet) work ("TestDatei um MouseOver anzuwenden.xlsm").
Maybe you have an idea? If you have any question, please let me know!

This one is a bit beyond me. I'm getting the idea, but it's going to take some study. It doesn't help a lot that I don't read German. I am going to have to figure out what having a user form has to do with it.
Besides, your chart seems to work. Once you select the series, you get the values when you mouse over the points. You are ahead of me on this one.
