Hi Guys
I am looking for a clean and fast way to find the sum of the data in this sheet because currently the formatting is off and there are spaces and R symbols everywhere (I want the currency to be $).

in J3
=IF(C3="","",SUBSTITUTE(C3,"R","")*1+0)
copy across and down as far as P21
Copy J3:P21 over the top of C3 if you want to overwrite the data.
I presume the original values are in Rands?
Replace the 1 in the formula above with whatever the exhange rate is for Rands/dollars and format the cells with a currency of $
