hello, this is my first thread on this forum so i hope it goes allright.

anyway, i have these two files that ive been working on for the past two weeks, and lately they started copying themselves while adding new, non-excel files and folders which i didnt create. this made a mess in my folder so i decided to copy the original files to another location and delete the extra files in folder. Now niether the original nor the copies will open up. ill add a pic of the folder so you know what it looks like. what do i do? can the files be saved? and even if not, how do i prevent this extra-files from being created again?

this is how the folder looks like, also this is after deleting the extra files, there used to be more but after deleting them they start popping up again... also, this is the messege that pops up when trying to open the original files.
