Macro Debugging and Step by Step (Excel for Mac Version 15.29.1)
I try to run a macro that stops somewhere with an Run time error 91: Object variable or With block variable not set.
It asks whether I want to debug, but the VBE Editor does not appear. (It has in the past with the line of error highlighted...)
I also tried to run the macro Step by Step , that would help me maybe to find the error, but when clicking "Step" or F8 nothing happens. How to run Step by Step in this version of Excel?
I am at my wits end
From memory you can step into a Mac procedure with CMD-Shift-i
You can of course see the short cuts listed if you click the VBA Debug menu item

thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately CMD-Shift-i does not work either... The problem is also, that the Debug menu does not appear when the Macro stops with an error.
