Hi,
This is in reference to an older thread:
http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ne-column.html
I have found an edge case with the macro in post #3. The board will not allow me to add to the existing thread (because it's closed?)
If you run the macro on a sheet where there are no duplicate values in column B, then you get an error...
Run-time error '1004': No cells were found.
The macro is unable to complete, and the result is that all row in column B are hidden and you can see the column used for the scratch work off to the right. Unfiltering the column to the right, and deleting it, brings everything back.
Ideally there would be a message that tells you no duplicates were found, and the macro would complete successfully.
Thank you for help in advance!
