    Hi All,

PFA a file which can help you to send whatsapp from excel using VBA code. The code is basically a joint effort of various people whose code was found on internet and whatever I could do to append the same to meet the purpose.
The code is not very robust but still somehow meeting the purpose so if anyone feels they have a solution to overcome shortcoming, please do share back.
Share your experiences as well !!

    Thanks
    Ravi

Steps to use are listed below.
    1. Download and save template
    2. Replace the Col A and Col B with Contact number ( Mandatory ) and Contact Name ( optional )
    3. Write your general message in C1
    4 Save the file
'this is to open your whatsapp web manually
    5.Open Chrome
    6. Open whatsapp web and log in manually

7 Come back to excel and click send Whatsapp button.

8 System will as you with a popup message that whether whatsapp is loaded or else. ( this is introduced since in testing sometime whatsapp web was not loaded and the script started running causing mess !!)

    9. CAUTION HERE !!! - YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY COME BACK TO YOUR CHROME TAB WHERE WHATSAPP WEB IS OPEN AND LEAVE THE SYSTEM WITHOUT TOUCHING !!!
10 . AGAIN !! WHILE THE SCRIPT RUN, DO LEAVE THE SYSTEM IDLE !!

    Ravisca2003 ,
Thank you so much for sharing, appreciate your help.

Tested the code, not working, no respond after the prompt "is whatsapp loaded, click no to cancel".

Just one more question, can sendkeys function send picture from folder to whatsapp as well? eg. i have picture url path in column C.

    Thanks

    Hi there,
Please see point number 9 in my post.wait untill web.whatsapp.com is loaded and u r properly logged in. Once it is.done, you have to click YES. On the message whether WhatsApp loaded or else.

    Now here is the catch.

Immediately after u press YES , U HAVE TO COME BACK MANUALLY TO THE BROWSER TAB IN WHICH WHATSAPP IS LOADED.

Just to explain u more so that I understand, when u press YES to respond to the message, system passes the active control to this VBA object and could not go back to the WhatsApp window hence user have to intervene manually to do that and that too immediately.

Further send keys can also attach but currently the code does.not.support attachment. If u have any solution to make WhatsApp pick the attachment file as well, I am happy to hear from you as it is something I could.not.get right.

Sorry for typos. Sent from handheld

    Good luck.

I Helen please follow the steps after checking them once again. Also read my reply to other user as well.

I think you are missing some manual intervention here otherwise the code worked so far so good with most of thwm to.whom I shared.

    Hi Ravi,
Thanks a lot for this, It works Great.
I just want to know is there a way i can send a customised message.

I actually want to send message to my co employees their respective timings. I will put in their In time and Out time in a column and would want the VBA Script to load the timings from there. Also I will want to notify them about the project on which they will be working.

    Eg :
The message would be sent like "Hi Jessica , Today's Schedule Work on Bathroom design 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm and then Ceiling Decoratives 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm.

Here I would keep Bathroom design and Ceiling decoratives in two cells and intime outtime in another cell.

    Hi There,

Yes you can do that with my new version. I have created 4 Variables col. in which you can write your variable texts and send it to your users. I have been using it like that for a while.

    Hi There,
Please check this thread. I have uploaded a new version today but somehow I cannot link a file to this reply. SOrry for the confusion and added trouble but what you need is doable with my new version attached.
