Hours After Midnight

Hey Guys,

I reckon the answer to this is right under my nose... can't put my finger on it.

I’m trying to the amount of hours worked on a shift AFTER midnight.

For Example:

If someone starts at 16:00 then clocks off at 3:00 then 3hrs have been worked after midnight. If someone starts at 16:00 then clocks off at 22:00 then 0 hrs have been worked after midnight.

I also then need to calculate the flip side… hours worked before midnight (technically this can just be total shift length - hours worked after midnight.

Been trying a MOD formula but when someone starts at 22:00 I get the result 22… so that option isn’t working.

Any help is greatly appreciated

(End time + 24 * (end time < start time)) - start time

(03:00 + 24*(03:00<16:00))-16:00 = 11

End time * 24 * (end time < start time)

End time * 24 * (end time < start time)
