Excel 2016 - Icons in Insert Tab of ribbon in the Illustrations Group

    Hi,

I have read a couple of newsletters that outline - 'An awesome new feature available in Excel 2016 are Icons. You’ll find Excel Icons in the Insert tab of the ribbon in the Illustrations group:

I have 2016 running, have checked through all available ribbon options and am unable to find how I make these available.

Even Google doesn't seem to have anything about these - there is plenty about Icons as conditional formatting (and as a result of searches, I have picked up some neat ideas).

As always, any help will be appreciated

    Best Wishes
    Andy

You should find it like screen shot below.

You can find bit of documentation in links below.

    Small article on Insert icons

I can confirm that Version 1611 (Build 7571.2075) has this feature.

To insert an icon go to the Insert tab of the ribbon and under the Illustrations tab choose Icons
In that gallery you'll find icons organized by categories like "People" or "Business". You can scroll up and down through the categories using the scroll bar at the right or jump right to the category you want by clicking the name of that category in the navigation pane at the left.
Choose the icon that you want to insert by clicking on it, then choosing the Insert button at the lower right.

    Thanks Amanda
Unfortunately, it appears that my IT guys need to upgrade my version of Office before I can use this new feature
That said, thank you for taking the time out to help me out.

    Happy New Year!!
