I am using Excel 2016. When reopening file, large arrows now appear when the cursor is over a cell with a comment. Do not know how to correct.
Example is attached.

Because that cell has a "comment". Click that cell, right click your mouse to show all the menu items, then select delete comment to delete the comment attached to that cell.

Hi Bob,
I'm guessing the comment box was created and then fiddled with and it messed up. Try deleting the comment and starting over. What do you get?
