Problem about create and management of large lists in Excel.

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to create multiple drop down lists dependent on a 'parent list'.

For example:

1) Parent List=

List name: Category
No contact made
Too expensive

2) Child/dependent lists =

List name: No contact made
Unable to contact customer

List name: Too expensive
Customer unable to afford product
Customer switched to alternative provider

I have named my range for the parent list 'Category' and my child lists "No_contact_made' and 'Too_expensive' however when attempting to use the INDIRECT function to connect the child lists I'm receiving an error message and the drop down lists don't work.

I believe this is due to the name ranges for the child lists but I don't know how else to name them so they can connect to the parent list or if there is a formula I can use.
