How to remove * from a spreadsheet?

I've a spreadsheet with product descriptions on some of which include the text *obsolete* which I want to remove.
eg Red car size small *obsolete*
which I want to simply show
    Red car size small

Usually I'd use Ctrl+H and type the text I want to remove but if I include the symbol * it removes everything. I've removed the wording which now leaves me with ** at the end of the description but not sure how to remove this. I've tried checking the match case/cell contents but it still removes everything. Any suggestions welcome.

Apologies for the multiple images - it wasn't showing as being uploaded so I ended up trying 3 times before giving up lol

Use this in the "FIND" bit:

    ~*obsolete*~

... or to make it more generic, use: ~**~

Perfect thanks Glenn. I knew it must be something simple but must admit I've never actually used the ~ before and had no idea what it was for - I'm such a luddite lol

It's only simple if you know the answer... if you don't: it can have you going goggle-eyed for ages!!

    BtW, thanks for the Rep.
