What happens to the file size if you insert a few pictures and save it (check file size), select all the pictures and use the compress option, then re-save the file (and check the file size again)?

I think you may have solved it for me, thank you. The file I am working on has about 80 images and went from 3mb to 1.2mb when i compressed it. I've just been using the file for a few minutes without it crashing so it looks like its worked. Thank you. I knew there had to be a simple answer, I just couldn't find it. Many Thanks
