Running the formula and then removing it but leaving the results

I have a problem I am trying to solve when creating formulas for a number of cells in excel, let me explain.

I can create the formula in the cell and it works but I need to be able to strip the formulas but leave just the results in the cell.

Is that possible?

Sure, why not copy and paste special as values?
