Randomizing an array within an index/match

    Greetings,

I'm attempting to randomize both teams and persons within that team to selected roles for debates. There are 5 teams of 9. 2 teams should be randomly selected and the persons of that team should fill random roles.

I figure the best way to do that is to do Randbetween(1,6) for the teams, and then Index/Match for association. But, is there a way to randomize how they are placed within a column using Index/Match from a row (where teams are assigned)?

I've provided a workbook to show my work-in-progress. I'm at a complete loss on how to achieve this. Is there a function, of should I use VBA?

Thanks for any support you may provide.

Ah - my mistake. I hadn't realised we'd now reached four versions! Thanks.

Sorry for the duplicated threads, I'm trying to reach a solution to my inquiry and the first thread was too broad and I'm looking for a particular fix for my situation. As I wasn't sure which thread would best fit my particular situation, I posted to all relevant.
