count number of acurancies in a row by date criteria

im trying to get how meany times the letter a acures for each employee, but as the date goes forward the column from which it counts goes forward to.?

in very last column where "number of accasions looking back 365 days from today" i need formula that will calculate acurancies of absence periods, but as days goes forward i need that formula to start counting from column which is same day but 365 days ago. if thats makes sence?! new sheet attached

Sorry, but your formula appears to do so. It counts number of absences starting from date in OD1 cell witch is always TODAY-365 so the same day year ago. Function checks whole range of your table witch is wider, but it doesn't count absences older than date criteria in OD1 so everything appears to be fine. Please explain it more, because I really don't know what seems to be the problem

So, your problem is how to make the formula adapt to changes in the number of columns - meaning when you insert columns you want the reference to column NH to change?

Hello thyes it counts the absence days thatc correct, but for bradford factor table roling 12 monthsit number of days and number ov accasions, the problem is that i cant get the accasions to count only 365 days back, i can get the accasions for whole row, but thats is not what i need. let say today is 03/08/2016 im trying to get the accasions to look back only 365 days not whole row. if thats make sence on prievius sample sheet i highlited column yellow where it should start count accasions only last 365 days.
