Cannot scroll up the page.

I do some voluntary work with the blind and have a customer who using W7 and magnification/speach software and Office 2007. He is an ex accountant and has a spread sheet with all his financial info. The top of the page starts at line 298 but it will not scroll back up the screen to the data. On the line numbers higher than 298 it scrolls up and down. I have looked at help info and tried view,frozen panes but it does nothing, its probably something simple but i do not use excel myself any help appreciated.

There are few possibilities as to why this is happening:

1. The rows above row 298 have been hidden. You will need to unhide the rows to resolve this.
2. The panes are frozen (understand that you have explored this already).
3. The rows above 298 have been grouped together. You will need to click on the "+" signs on the extreme left.
