Hi there I was hoping someone would be able to help me with a data analysis problem I have.

I work for a caravan company that is in the process of some much needed expansion and updating unfortunately the data capture side is not as much of a priority which is where I sit.

At the end of our production line is a "hand written" logbook with all the faults recorded on each van that comes off the line. for example; line dents, scratches, Out of stock (OOS) GAPs creases in material, damaged parts and faulty parts.
I have tallied all these up and generated Pareto graphs for these and a histograph for management.

Now they want to know the locations of the faults on the vans also for example; near side Off side (NS OS) Front Back top bottom (F Bk t b) toilet cabin (TC) etc

I want to create a pivot table that I can put on a terminal at the end of the line and try an modernise a bit and get our data capture time down to under 24Hrs yes I know an MRP would be the best option but that's not happening anytime soon I am afraid.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
