Re: Conditional Formatting for Closing Bank Balance

Condtional Formatting works by formatting cells under specified conditions.
    You haven't specified any conditions...

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Sir,

In case of Positive Actual closing Balance if it is less than the Budgeted then it should be red. But in case of Negative if it is less then the budgeted then it should be green.

Re: Conditional Formatting for Closing Bank Balance

    Try this

    Select I8

    Conditional Formatting
    New Rule
    Use a formula to determine...
    2 rules required

    =(AND(G8<E8,SIGN(E8)<>-1))
    format as red

    =(AND(G8<E8,SIGN(E8)=-1))
    format as green

Use Format painter (paintbrush icon) to copy to other cells

    Hi Sir,

Only the first formula is working and not the second one. Can you please look into the same?
