Editing an isolated Row of Cells

Hi everyone,

First I apologize if this was posted already somewhere but I couldn't find it. I was wondering if there is a way to edit the width of an isolated row of cells? I want to adjust the width of individual cells without messing with the width of the cells above and below it. It seems like all I can do is adjust the width of the entire column at once on the sheet. Is there a way to do this? (NOTE: I know how to merge cells together, that's not what I want to do.)
