Hi,
I am looking for an alternative to Pivot table.
I have 2 columns of text data, 1 with the labels and other a subset. Something like this-
Employee Day
A Mon
B Tue
A Wed
B Thu
I would like to know if there is an alternative to pivot tables so I can use named ranges that change dynamically.

Could you post a sample workbook with desinsitized data so that we can see what you are trying to achieve.
Just based on what you have posted, if you had your data as a TABLE, you could still use a pivot table which would change as you added more rows without you needing to modify the pivot table each time, but it's difficult to be sure without more information.
