Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to show the value of data validation already rather that blank cell.

I am thinking that, the data validation is always showing "No" on the cell, but then if we want to change to "Yes" just click the drop down list and then select "Yes"

In the data validated cells themselves. Because it is a formula it will be copied if it's in a table and more rows are added, or if you drag it by the corner down. Data Validation will remain in tact.

Data Validation is a cosmetic change to a cell's appearance based on that cell's contents, it does not - and can not - add to or change a cell's contents.

Can you explain again what you are trying to do, please?

You're thinking of conditional formatting.

They're just asking how to preset an answer in a data validation dropdown cell.
Of course, this can be done manually, but my solution was to use a formula because it will get copied if it's in a table that is expanded.
