scroll on both sides of freeze panes

    Hi
I have a large worksheet with a frozen colum in the middle, and I need to be able to scroll horizontally on both sides. I cant figure out how to do this. I know I can split screens instead, but the doesn't relly solve my problem since I do not want information to appear multiple times, as it will when i split screens.. So what to do? Thanks so much for any help I can get. I'm stuck..
    /Marie

Re: scroll on both sides of freeze panes

Freeze panes will only freeze columns above, or to the left, or above AND to the left of a given cell.

You cannot have multiple frozen panes.

Effectively, freeze panes allows you to have reference cells above and to the left of your variable data.

AFAIAA, you cannot do what you are asking.

    Sorry. I can't think of a way.

Perhaps you can provide a sample workbook with some typical data and indicate what you want/need to achieve. Might help someone come up with some ideas.
