INDEX-MATCH or VLookup for pulling in matching data?

Hi All, quick question for you....

In the file attached, I have five columns.

In Column D, I have the information from Column A, just grouped in bunches alphabetically. What kind of formula can I use (in Column E) to return each corresponding "Area" (from Column B)?
    .
For example, in Column A, "AB" is listed sporadically 21 times, but I want to be able to put in a formula into Column E to return the corresponding "Area" in the exact order it falls under.

For reasons, I can not simply do a manual sort. Thanks for your help!!

Because this is a duplicate and also in the wrong forum it is now closed. As Kaper said, if this happens again just report the post and request a change of forum, rather than duplicating the post.
