Question Conditional formatting formula requires updating to not be invoked if field contain blank

    Hi
I have a conditonal format set up which puts a strikethrough through a row when a formula "equals dollar F4 less than TODAY" is met.

Problem is when I add text to a new line it starts by adding the strikethrough to the text because the date in F4 is blank (so I am guessing means its less that today)

Is there an additional condition that can be added to the formula so it will exclude the space in the date field, thus prevent the text being struckthrough when I start typing.

To try to explain what I am saying, in the attached sheet - In "all resourcing requests", If you add a value in cell A12, you'll see that it is being added grey with a strikethrough - this is the conditional formatting, which I need updating I think

    Thanks for your help
