Only copying a single of multiple entries and counting qty of entries in a table

    Hi,

I'm trying to program a CRM spreadsheet to make tracking of quotes and POs a bit simple without manual inputs. So essentially what I've done is a table with all quote information on each line such as customer, company, Quote amount, quote number, etc...

What I've done is a second page where I have VLOOKUP formula to tell me which pre-set quote numbers have been assigned and to whom (customer company). Now one company will have multiple quotes and as you can guess that company name will appear more than once in a column. What I'd like to do is have a second column building a list of customer names, have that name appear only once, then beside that name would be the quantity of quotes. I then want this list to appear in order of whom we've quoted the most often. I have a COUNTIF next to the manually inputted customer name, what I want is that customer name to appear when I do a quote entry and have it only appear once with that counter.

Is that something I could get some guidance on please?

    Thanks!

It would help a lot if you could provide a sample spreadsheet, particularly with "this is what I got" and "this is what I want it to look like" sections.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
