Hi all

I have a massive document from a survey that was run.

Questions were open ended, asking why users loved a particular brand. So their answers tend to focus around the same sorts of things, e.g. prices, products on offer etc.
I found this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...tive-data.html
that as great when it comes to counting instances of a single phrase or word, such as 'great prices'. But what I need to do is count a variety of similar answers, e.g. 'great price' and 'good price' and have one total for the idea (that prices are great).

Is there a formula to run that i can include a variety of phrases in OR is it better to set up a bunch of formulas to count each phrase I'm looking for?

Thanks!
