Hi,
as far as I know (I'm a Mac user too), no official PowerPivot add-in for Excel on Mac is available.
I hope to be wrong.

Hi,

Back when personal computers hit the main market, I was told that "Software Sells Hardware". The IBM PC made its OS open to all who wanted to learn it and Apple kept its OS proprietary. I believe people started buying Apple thinking it was a "computer" and therefore just like any other personal PC. Now it seems the software manufacturer is responsible for not moving their applications to other hardware. I wonder what the real story is? Did Apple hide its OS to the point that it simply couldn't do what is needed for Power Query? Is Microsoft too lazy to produce all the features of the PC version of Office on the Mac? I think we are seeing that the Mac and PC were invented for different primary focuses. Mac's specialty was pictures and music, while PC was for data crunching. Now people who bought Macs want the power to crunch data. Did they make the wrong choice? Does the purchase of Hardware now dictate what the software manufactures need to create?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
