Fixtures, Results and 0-0 situation

Hi all,

Really confusing me this one. I am trying to create a spreadsheet for the Euro 2016 soccer tournament and have come across a problem.
The results table is calculated for wins, losses and draws, then by goal difference etc. Here is my problem.
I cannot get the results table to calculate the draws. Obviously if a game hasn't been played then the cells where you enter the scores are blank. These carry forward to cells which calculate if the game is a draw (one cell's result being equal to the other cell's result). As default the answer for both cells is a zero. This then calculates as a drawn game. But if the game hasn't been played, it's 0-0. If the game is played and the result is 0-0, same result.
So if I try and add up the drawn games and award a point to each team I am stuck. Any game that hasn't been played also awards either team one point each - as by default each cell for their score is zero!
I cannot figure a way around this.
Any clues anyone?
