    Job Labor Count using Piivot

    Hi all
I am going nuts trying to create a pivot to total how much resource was used in each job, I have attached a small example to show what I mean. Sheet1 will show the data and Sheet2 shows what currently get with the simple pivot I am running and also what I'm trying to get as I only want to total how many heads where used in each job, not how many times they recorded it. I am running this on 2007 in case that makes a difference.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks

In C1 of sheet 1 where you have actual data add a header as count
then in C2 copy paste below and drag down
    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =IF(COUNTIFS($A$2:A2,A2,$B$2:B2,B2)>1,0,1)

now create a pivot table and in Values field keep count

    hope that helps

    Hi Hemesh
I found the add reputation no problem but I still can't see where to mark SOLVED anywhere,
