Build an application out of excel

Dear Excel experts,

We are a small investment company who looking forward to further enhance our current processes.
For a start, we are looking at to enhance the compliance department by streamlining the manual process to an automation process.
Based on my previous experience, i have worked with excel expertise to assist in building up an application which automated the entire process.
Hence, i believe the same can be done with my new organization.
Therefore, i am requesting if there is any expertise around that can assist us with this.
