Splitting Text String Into Separate Columns

    Hi,

can any please advise me of the formula I need to split a text string into separate columns?

What I have is my CD collection (in column 'A') where current the name of the artist and album is in the same cell separated by a '-' e.g.

Billy Idol - Idol Songs: 11 Of The Best
Billy Joel - The Essential Billy Joel (2CD)
    Blancmange - Mange Tout
    Blancmange - Second helpings (1990)
Blondie - The Complete Picture (The Very Best)
Blues Brothers - The Blue Brothers Sound

What I require is a formula to split the text so the 'Artist Name' would be in column 'B' and the 'CD Title' in column 'C'

any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated

    Many thanks in advance

    Regards

    Rob
